Ohio Summit on Children Working Together for Our Children

 

LOOKING FORWARD

To ensure the momentum generated at the Ohio Summit on Children is sustained, a follow-up Summit is scheduled for fall 2009. There, success will be measured in terms of positive outcomes for children and families.

Activities include:

  COUNTY FIVE-MEMBER TEAMS STATE TEAM
STEP ONE Participate in 2008 Ohio Summit on Children.   Participates in 2008 Ohio Summit on Children.
STEP TWO

Develop and submit Post-Summit Planning Form (pp. 22 and 23 of the Participant Manual) by Aug. 1, 2008.

   Reviews planning forms submitted by county teams.
STEP THREE Implement local community action plans.   Creates response to "Steps that can be taken at the state level" analysis submitted in county planning forms.
STEP FOUR Create and submit status reports by Aug. 1, 2009, for presentation at 2009 Ohio Summit on Children.

   Presents observations of local community action plans during 2009 Ohio Summit on Children.
STEP FIVE Participate in 2009 Ohio Summit on Children.   Participates in 2009 Ohio Summit on Children.
